2003-2020 Professor of Applied Mathematics, School of Science (Mathematical Sciences), RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia,  includes 15 years as  Head: School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences.
Prior to this, positions were held at the University of Natal, the University of Zululand, and the Atomic Energy Board of South Africa.
